Good for history, had lights, was the most basic cave out of all of them
Easy walking cave for starters. Beginning level. Ladder at the entrance and walkways are lit up, but take a flashlight to look around. Not too far to the end of the cave. Bit chilly so wear a hoodie. Located at the Lava Bed National Monument with easy walking pathways to the caves. Some caves close in October and the ladders are locked for no access. Mushpot Cave was open to explore when we went the end of October.
Very easy short lighted cave just right behind the visitor center.
Mushpot Cave has a 4.7 star rating with 60 reviews.
Mushpot Cave is closed now. It will open at 9:00 a.m.
