I started going to Musc Hoffmeyer around 2 years ago because I lost my doctor and I knew Dr Fonseca from Er at musc. During my time there I was happy with my doctor but the nurse Ashley is the rudest person in that office. I even requested that she not call me that I'd prefer another nurse.I did have to cancel quite a few appointments due to my many illnesses, I have a 82 yr old mother with Alzhiemers and congestive heart failure I have to help with. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if it still takes 2+ hours to be seen?
It shouldn't be this hard to manage a facility. I had to wait a month to get in, took off from work, only to be told that my appointment had been canceled when I called the day of. They told me the next available appointment would be another month. This is just ridiculous. It hey can't manage appointments, I just can't have much faith in the care they provide.
Dr. Fonseca is a great doctor he actually listens and will try his best to address his patients concerns..The nurses are very friendly and caring also and the front desk check in ladies are sweet hearts..
I've been trying to get my daughter's rx refilled....it's been over 8 days. The pharmacy has sent messages I've called twice, but no only a rude girl on the phone blaming my daughter and I. Then she called in the wrong medicine I tried to call but apparently the # is disconnected. We go every 3 months to get charged for a service, basically so we can get all our meds refilled.
