I left my first meeting with Dr Patrick Jowdy extremely impressed. I was seeing him for a back problem , but I had the feeling I was in the hands of a skilled diagnostician. I’ve had four back surgeries performed by three different neurosurgeons, and this first conversation with Dr Jowdy was clearly more thorough than any pre-or post surgical discussion I’ve ever had before. I look forward to working with Dr Jowdy in resolving my current difficulties.
I had a consult with neurosurgeon Dr Jowdy this morning. Pleasant and informative conversation after a thorough exam. Spent a reasonable time going through the options. I felt cared for.
I had an office appointment with Dr. Back & he told me he would not do further surgery. I didn't care for his proffesionalism. He didn't show me the copy of the Cervical MRI, I had when I lived in NJ. This Dr. barely spent any time with me in the office. I had an excellent Neuro Surgeon in NJ. The Dr's here in SC. dont seem to be helping my severe cronic pain or the diagnosis only to say I have failed back surgery. I need answers & help!!
Had an appointment with Dr Back to get the results of an mri. Arrived and had a PA come into the room. Couldn't answer any questions I had said Dr Back wasn't in the office that day. Then found out he us no longer affiliated with MUSC. No explanations given. Went to check out and was asked when I was supposed to return. I said never I guess, you don't have a Dr to see. Very dissatisfied !!!
