I saw Dr. Jowdy a year ago when he operated on my back. I instantly liked him. I was disappointed to know that he was thinking of leaving the area. I am so happy he chose to stay in the area. Yesterday I went back to him even though it is an hour’s drive for me. He is very caring and puts you at ease right away. He spends enough time with you and explains everything in detail. He does not rush you out the door. The staff at MUSC and the facilities are top notch.
Dr. Patrick Jowdy impressed me with his good offices. He was very attentive, patient and most importantly, very thorough with his work. He made me feel that l was with doctor who cares of his patients. Dr. Jowdy is Awesome. The world needs to know of his practice. Sincerely, Carmen Reyes.
I had knee replacement (Dr Geswell) and neck surgery (Dr Jowdy) here. Great experience both times.
MUSC Neurosurgey is the worst place to get any help from the old doctor they had to the new ones. They all are disrespectful and only care about for doing nothing. They charge you or your insurance for time they didn't even spend doing treatment on the patient. If i was you i would not see neurosurgery there either. You will be better off going to Atrium Health or anyone that is not under MUSC. MUSC like brushing paients systems under the rug and not worried about them.
