Staff canceled my appointment. Needed hemorrhoid treatment and was told this office doesn't do that. Now I'm forced to drive out of town to find another GI doctor covered by my insurance. They shouldn't let you schedule an appointment for hemorrhoid treatment if they don't even offer that service. We need a local GI doctor that will provide routine GI services.
Dr. Bender was the only part of this office that allows it to be a 2-star. She was accommodating and kind towards me during the initial consult. Otherwise, every other part of my experience was inexplicably bad. From not being given proper instructions for prescription medications, to nobody picking up the phone when you call and press '0', and taking days to answer a message in the MUSC MyHealth portal - everything here was reprehensibly bad.
