It is difficult and worrisome enough to manage Type 1 Diabetes and to watch and feel all your child endures after being diagnosed at age 9 with T1D. Then to have Terrible experience with everyone we saw at MUSC, Pediatric neurologist, rude, condescending and misinformed! Most of the staff and are rude to patients and again very uniformed ! My son was diagnosed at 2 and is 4 now. In the past 2 years they have never ONCE sent in a prescription correctly. Its not even the doctors, it's the terrible staff. Call and ask for a Humalog refill and they'll write a prescription for Lantus. Need a new Dexcom sensor prescription? They'll write for a new reciever. Need an insurance preauthorization? Expect it to take a minimum of 10 days for them to submit the document bc its, "first come, first serve" even if they should have done it WEEKS ago. Every single time, they get... read more

I literally get rescheduled every time my daughter has an appointment. And of course she doesnt get moved to the next day. No, she gets moved months out. April 25th was the next app. Now it’s in July. They don’t care about you and get you in and out as quick as possible.

Not a bad Doctor but beware of MUSC. Even though this is location is not in the hospital, you will be charged as an outpatient hospital visit. Then they will charge you for doctor separately. For a 15 minute visit where we were told nothing was needed and no tests were run, we were charged $300.
