My first experience with Murwillumbah Vets occurred recently after my heeler was kicked by a horse. Joan was incredibly caring and helpful over the phone (after hours) and took the time to really assess the situation and provide recommendations. She also checked in the following day which I appreciated greatly. 10/10 would recommend - thank you!!
A wonderful veterinary practice, I've had the need for their call out services to my cattle farm several times in the last three and a half years, I have always been extremely pleased with their polite, professional and exemplary service, keep up the good work Dr Joan Gibbons and team
We have had quite a few pets over the years, with very many vet visits. We are very lucky with the excellent care given to our current dogs and cat by the team at Queen St Vets. Dr Tanis, who recently saved our kelpie's life, is one of the best vets I have ever encountered. She is extremely professional and caring, and practical, recommending the best and kindest treatments. I would also like to mention Nurse Brenna who has gone out of her way to help me and follow up on treatments for the pets.
Paid the best part of 600 dollars for one Guinea pig to be “assessed”. Was told they don’t know what’s wrong and that they would ask around for advice, with no timeline given for answers. Disgraceful. Next time just be honest and advise you don’t know much about Guinea pigs. Also, completely stonewalled when I asked for a refund.
I have been with Murwillumbah vet for almost 10 years and will not go anywhere else. They are very experienced and skilled, great customer service and look after owners and their pets to the highest of standards. I am so grateful for their care throughout the years. I haven't even been with a GP as long as I've been with them!
