I had an awesome doctor who had helped me with my situation and then added one more tiny problem to solve another health issue and very proud of him.i will keep going back to him as he has good communication skills.
The nurse on shift was absolutely amazing. I have Autism and struggle with getting needles and she held my hand and helped me through it and didn’t make me feel at all bad about it.
Arrived to Urgent Care Clinic reception. Said I was experiencing chest pains. Was asked to scan a QR code, take a seat and fill in a digital form. Waited. No one came to check. Ended up walking out and drove myself to Redcliffe Hospital Emergency Department. On the way there received a phone call from the clinic saying they were calling my name, so I told them I couldn't wait and was driving myself to the hospital. Reply was "Ok". Have been twice now, for the same injury. Staff were kind, helpful, and efficient. I waited 30 mins the first time before being seen (5:30pm on a weekday). and only 10 minutes the second time (1pm on a weekday). Chemist is right there and open til 8pm as well so I could get my script filled. X ray place was also there but not open til 8. It was all bulk billed, didn’t have to pay anything.
