Update: after posting my review on both FB and Yelp the owner reached out to me and offered a replacement tree equal to the value of what we paid. I waited a little over a month before updating to make sure the tree did better this time. We were advised by the arborist to put a Crape Myrtle in the same spot instead of a magnolia as the roots were less likely to damage the driveway a decade from now. So that is what we chose. We purchased a 24” boxed magnolia tree in April. We paid for delivery and dug the hole and requested the the guys that deliver help us by breaking the box open and putting the tree in the hole. When they showed up they felt the hole wasn’t deep enough and jumped in and dug it out deeper before putting the tree in. (This will be important). At the time I thought that was great service. Went there to get a tree and the Man who works there was bringing it to our car. We were behind our SUV about to load it when Someone came up to him to say hello. He stayed in conversation with this person while we were next to him waiting for him to load up our purchase. I guess our business wasn't important enough to him. We waited and then I had to get someone from inside the car to help us load it because the employee never did. He didn't even apologize for his lack of customer service.
