Great experience they talk about the history of the paddle steamer since 1860 lot of the boat have been restored great trip down the Murray River about $35 one hour trip
Wharf to winery, on the Canberra steam boat , while the winery pack was good value the wine was delicious but the food was average, maybe just my selection but also couldn’t find a cellar door to purchase from either which was a bit disappointing. The cruise however was brilliant and relaxing, we had our 3 month old on board and every one was very helpful with the pram and when to cover his ears etc.

Wonderful hour spent on the PS Canberra. Crew knowledgeable and welcoming. Gentle trip on the Murray to the sound of the paddles and the smell of the steam engine. Bliss. Only downside was a woman getting abusive when it was politely pointed out that the group of elderly people were before her in the queue to board. Sad to witness.
I could travel on these beautiful paddle steamers all day. Rhythmic, peaceful and once again, reminds us of our love of the Murray River.
