Beautiful, peaceful and muddy!
We got to enjoy a couple of hours (which included a lunch) on the paddle steamer ‘Canberra ‘. The commentary was very good explaining so much of the history of the area, the river and the traders in bi-gone years. Our only recommendation would be to skip the winery luncheon as the food was 1/10 and so not worth the money. Do the river cruise and find a lovely cafe back in Echuca.
What a delightful and relaxing trip along the river, great with little kids with it being enclosed up the top, and was really great for kids being able to hold the wheel. Highly recommend
Richard was very knowledgeable and entertaining as we pottered down the river. The kids also had a fabulous time and loved having a turn at driving the boat.
Fun day for the family, will need to do the winery lunch at Morrisons when we visit again. Thanks!
