I unexpectedly ended up having to stay in Stanthorpe. I booked the first available room I found and was so happy to accidentally end up here. Lovely grounds. AMAZING, helpful, engaged owners. Clean, well equipped rooms. I stayed in a cottage heated by a fire place (an oil heater was also available though). I am not particularly an "outdoorsy" girl, but I learned how to make fire and really enjoyed the whole experience. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe here also.
Great location in a bushland setting, nice & quiet & peaceful. Staff were very friendly and accommodating too! Best part was the fireplace, we loved it. Highly recommend this place.
Great self catered cabins. Dog friendly which was a huge benefit. We brought the dogs bed, and he currled up at the base of the bed all night. The fire kept the place warm whilst the heated blankets in the bed kept us warm. Thanks for a lovely stay.
