Great hockey, atmosphere and concessions....
Worst lighting of any college hockey rink in the nation. Either take a bulldozer and start over, or put lights OVER the ice surface, just like every other rink. You can't expect goalies to see the release of quality shots in this lighting. This is why the Eagles score big at home but not on the road. It's an embarrassment.
Built back in the 70s for Elmira college it's still being used for many things, like today for a craft fair. Plenty of room and parking, the students are very polite and helpfully. Highly recommend visiting this moon base icon for the southern tier. Just watched EC woman's hockey team win NEHC championship today beating U of Southern Maine 2-0 great game and Congrats to the girls of Elmira College.
