The several staff members here are racist here. Our kids were going down the slides fine, then a white female lifeguard noticed my Latina spouse waiting for our son. She told her to move away. My wife explained others Mothers are doing the same thing. Next our kids were going back up the stairs and she was waving at the white lifeguard up top to send the kids back down. It's fine. Just pretty basic. There's a little slide for kids, some tables and chairs and that's it. They don't sell bottles of water, ice cream, lounge chairs, or have hot tubs or therapy pools. There was also a strange heavy-set lifeguard walking around positively glaring at the kids. I don't know why she decided to be a lifehaurd for children but her aversion for them was palpableand uncomfortable. Solid spot to take the kids for swimming in the summer, there's a waterslide, two diving boards, and sometimes lap lanes. It's not my favorite aquatic center, but I appreciate the price and how it's often open when other locations are closed. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
