The most horrendous grooming experience. Explicit instructions were do not shave him. What’s worse is they charged for a breed specific groom and completely hacked at him. I’ve never seen anything like it. What was worse was the costumer service after I complained about what they had done, tried to say their atrocious cutting was just ‘how the hair grows’. His coat has never been the same since. Avoid this place at all costs.
We have been using this business for a number of years and it has been really good until recently when we took our dog Max to get his regular full groom. The end result was really bad. Who ever was the groomer must have been an apprentice or has no idea how to groom dogs. I wrote to Alphapet Port Melbourne a private email expressing our unhappiness as I wanted to share this experience directly with them and not via a public review. Unfortunately I have not heard back from them. It has been now 7 days. Very unhappy!
