Traveling through with my daughter and had a gearbox oil leak problem. Being a mechanic I knew what I needed to check the oil level which was a 24mm spanner. This was on a Saturday afternoon at around lunch. Came here after our car needed got a check engine light (it needed ignition coils - something we already knew) - went to this shop as it was the closest and the only one open near new years - said it’ll take an hour to plug in the OBD machine - which is understandable at that time. Ended up taking around 4 hours… funny thing is in that time all that was done was plugging a machine in and telling us what we already knew (they didn’t have the parts to fix it either - which ended up being a huge waste of time. Couldn’t spare 30 sec to scan my car for a fault code
Took car in with 2 small radiator hose leaks. Took 2 days to replace them and a 4 figure bill for a job that should have cost $400-$500. Incompetence would be the only explanation. No heads up on the cost of the process either or rough quote. Certainly wouldn’t use them again. Hate being ripped off
Helped us out of a jam up to qld, got our car towed. Great service and nicest people you could ask for in a pinch
