Ron came and looked at my chimney and gave me an estimate. He said they only accepted cash or check as their reputation was "everything". Against better judgement I wrote a check so he could purchase supplies and that was the start of a 3 month nightmare of lies and broken promises. In the end, Ron stole my money, never completed work, never purchased supplies, and overall was terrible to deal with. I can't caution you enough, stay away!

I contacted Murphy's with an idea for custom chimney caps. I first worked with Phil who gave me several references and then Ron came to measure for the caps. Ron and Dave finished installing 2 GORGEOUS custom caps today that look just like the picture I sent them. I could not be happier and neighbors are already commenting on how these are finishing touches on my house. Great experience, great guys, great outcome... happy chimneys. Fast response time. Called them on Tuesday and they were out Thursday. Diagnosed the issue. Told me I could fix it myself and showed how. Didn't charge me for anything. Very nice. Very honest.

We had a bad leak in our chimney. Ron visited the house earlier in the week for diagnosis. Then, a couple days later he brought all the parts that needed to be replaced, fixed the problem quickly and did not go over budget. Ron is very professional and an expert in his line of work. He is also very practical and goes above and beyond to do not only the best job for the client but also save him/her money. We are lucky to have found him!
