Today in the morning hrs. I wanted to fill up the tank and as always I used my # at the pump to get points, which seems that it was approved but then stopped. So I went to the cashier asked kindly to open the pump in which I was so I can fill up as I don't know how much $$ it would take, and cashier as for a card and I told her that I'm not comfortable living my personal information behind. Definitely going downhill. It was once clean, pumps kept in excellent condition and providing receipts, window washing stations well stocked with paper towels. Now just the opposite. I dread having to stop for fuel at PI Murphy.
I tried to get gas Monday with my debit card. The card was not disabled but every time (3 different pumps on the East side) would not take the card. I would insert the card and the pump print would tell me to remove the card. Then it would say something like insert prime card. I have never seen these type of messages on a gas pump before. I asked the clerk what was going on and he told me it was my card. I actually made him come out and review the messages and he could not explain them.
