We will recommend Murdaugh to everyone who needs tree service. A crew of 7 removed two long needle pine trees which towered over our house. The trees were felled from the top down without any damage to the lawn. Clean up was finished in two hours. The fee was reasonable. Murdaugh arranged for stump grinding which was completed within two days. A.G., Edisto Island

Team showed up when they said they would be their. Started working at 730 am and never stopped till job was done!!!! Work ethic was great. They attended to my questions and did what they said they would do. They cleaned up after they were done and job looks great. I would highly recommend. Very professional.

The Dad was not a people person but he was good at his profession. The son took over after the dad passed and it took almost a year to get here after the dad gave an estimate. When he did get here, he tore up the yard, a trellis, a wire fence, plants, and flowers. After all the damage and only removing one tree (dragging it to a sight visible to the house) that had already fallen over in the two year interim, he promptly left saying the yard was too wet. This company is completely unprofessional. They do not finish the work they promise and the persin that answers the phone needs to find a different job. She is completely unprofessional and needs an attitude check.

I have used Murdaugh tree company at least 3 times over the last 8 years (from 1 tree to 12 trees). They have always returned my calls in a timely manner, as well as, came out to give a quote for the work I wanted done. The trees were removed quickly and efficiently. Lastly, their quotes were always reasonable. Other companies were higher or even outrageous. I feel this is a company I can rely on.

Don't even bother calling. I called and it took forever for him to come give me a quote. When he finally did and I agreed to the price he NEVER showed back up to do the work. The trees were dead and a danger to myself, my neighbors and random cars driving down the road. He was rude and hung up on me which would have been fine if he had done the work he agreed to do. Murdaughs removed 4 trees and stumps and trimmed others in our yard. They did this in two days in a very professional manner, removing all refuse and leaving our yard in excellent condition. We were very pleased with their work.

Low price, yes. Service, terrible. Took him three trips and us two days off of work to remove 2 trees and grind 3 stumps. Ran over our bushes (did offer to replace them), destroyed the grass in the yard (even after he was asked not to drive his truck on the wet grass), cut out cable line (even though it was clearly marked). The last two items he would not take responsibility for. Do not use this company.
