I’ve been a patient of Dr. Murak’s for almost my entire life and have been going to Southgate Medical since he started practicing there. I’ve been extremely disappointed in the way this office has been run these past several years and would highly recommend against becoming a patient here. Dr. Murak must be effectively retired because neither I nor any of my family have seen him in years. Instead we’re always scheduled with a PA or nurse. I was having chronic diarrhea for 3 weeks due to the antidepressant Zoloft. It was prescribed to me when I was a patient at Brylin. The dose was too high which was the reason and I called Brylin but they told me to call my primary because I was no longer at Brylin. I called Southgate for help because 3 weeks of this was misery. My primary at Southgate wouldn't help me in any way and told me to wait for my May appointment with my new psychiatrist.
