His exam was the most comprehensive I've ever had at any eye doctor, including several retina specialists and far too many ophthalmologists to recall.Unfortunately, at least at that time, he was not familiar with the blue field entoptic phenomenon — neither was I — so he was unable to understand or explain what my complaint was. Dr. Levitzky is an exceptional doctor. I spent many years in the health industry where one of the things I learned was how to determine who is a competent physician as compared to an exceptional doctor. I know the difference. I have been under the care of Dr. Levitzky for more than 30 years. I would never recommend anyone else to my family or friends.
Dr. Levitzky has been my ophthalmologist for over thirty years and I have come to realize that he is unique and one of the very best. Whether he is treating me or recommending another specialist he inspires confidence. Other doctors are in awe of him and everyone I have ever referred to him has been very satisfied. I am fortunate to have found him.
The best there is. Period. He does not leave the work to others...he does it himself. And it is accurate. So nice to find a great doc who is also a really nice human! I came up with my mother to get an good read in the condition of my cataracts and her macular degeneration. He instantly spotted and solved a problem she had. He explained very thoroughly in actual plain English every little thing found. He took about four hours with us combined! Amazing!
