I am a medical professional, saw Doctor Ahmad referred by my primary. I found him to be very professional, kind, knowledgeable. Explained everything to me, ordered multiple other tests to find out exactly what's going on. Very thorough. The nurse came to talk to me after and was very good also. I would definitely recommend them for rheumatology.
Dr Ahmad diagnosed me with fibromyalgia in February, told me to call if I had questions. I contacted the office for an appointment and was told that Dr Ahmad had instructed me to see my GP for treatment. I've had undiagnosed fibromyalgia for decades, my GP isn't familiar with the syndrome and just offers meds, which I don't want. I am struggling to overcome this pain and am extremely disappointed at the dr's behavior. Do yourself a favor and see a different doctor if you want to heal.
Saw Dr. Munir and felt he was cold and not really listening to me. Told me... by looking at pictures I had taken that I had relapsing polychondritis or a cancer. Sent me for a CXR and labs. Never heard from him with results. Luckily I am portal literate but spent 4 days anxious and stressed. I am so tired of the care received in all areas of BSMC.
