Multiple employees parking at their N. Illinois St. location have excessively loud vehicles. Their engines sound like they are about to blow up as they come and go each day, making it extremely hard for anyone within at least a 500ft radius of this assault on your eardrums to conduct business of their own. DENIED SERVICE As a 30-year Air Force retired officer, in my humble opinion I would not recommend Munie Leisure pool store. On 9-3-2025 I called Munie Leisure pool store to schedule an appointment to have my swimming pool closed and left a message. My call was returned by “Julie”, and I was informed that I was placed on a “no service list” by the store owner “Steve”, so she could not schedule me for a pool closure thus risking damage to my swimming pool during the winter months ahead even though they opened it spring of 2025... read more
We had Munie install a pool and hot tub 2 years ago. It has been a rough experience. Pool ownership is not for the faint of heart. Equipment often breaks. Hot tub and pool have been a money pit and they made several mistakes when installing the pool. Hot tub masonry fell apart and came loose after 1 year, didn’t follow our specifications, and even final grading of the yard was subpar. We would not use them again.
We love our Munie Pool! Best pool company around! They started on our liner pool in Troy, Illinois on March 26 and finished by the first week in May. We have a gas heater so we’ve been enjoying our pool for 6 weeks now! It’s beautiful and we have absolutely no complaints! The owners and employees are good family people, are honest and will take care of you. They respond in a timely manner and are competitively priced! 5 stars all the way! Victoria Voumard
