Not responsive to patient needs. Only in office 2 days a week and refuses to communicate via mychart or phone (even if you JUST were there in the office) unless you make a trip back for another appointment - which is not easy since he's only there 2 days a week. He seems disengaged and not particularly concerned with patient issues.
I liked Dr Barash but during my last annual check he asked if I had any problems. I told him about my foot hurting and that I’m getting an appointment with a podiatrist. He suggested to prescribe painkillers/anti inflammatory. Turns out that 2 min talk was outside the purview of the annual check and their office billed me for a separate office visit. According to their billing department, during an annual check I’m not supposed to say if anything is wrong.
I’m always pleased with my visits to Dr Barash. He’s a good listener & answers all my questions that are health related.
He cares and make sure to answer all my questions.
