Worst decision I ever made was to bring my transmission to this place. One week after I got my car back it started acting up again and within days I couldn't even get it in gear. Then months later the seal broke and I found out from someone who works there that they don't even replace the seal sometimes. Then to top it off they wanted to charge me to fix it the last time as if it was my fault. By the way they keep changing their name like they're going to fool somebody but don't be fooled the same guy still owns it.
Took my van here for new transmission. Repeated attempts to get it fixed and 3 months later had to get a different shop to replace transmission because Crown (or whatever name they go by now- they have changed their name several times) never fixed it. They left sludge in the transmission and it continued to slip after repair. Crown refused to refund our money. I caught them in multiple lies. No new management, this is the fourth name change for this incompetent dishonest operation. They have gone from Aamco to Arrow to Crown and now Multistate of Glen Ellyn. Search Yelp for Crown Transmission Service and read the negative reviews. My experience was worse than any of them. Search Better Business Bureau, profile, reviews and complaints. Run, don’t walk, away. With so many shops to choose from why take a chance here.
