Why do doctors require weight for a test on the hand? I asked if this was a requirement from the insurance company but was told that it was specifically the doctor's request. So the test on my hand is influenced by my weight? This type of policy just keeps people from trusting the medical industry and reinforces the well established bias and body shaming in the medical field. Always treated wonderfully by staff and Dr. Phillips... she makes me feel heard, safe, and always makes sure that all my concerns or questions are addressed. It is an outstanding clinic and I very much would recommend if you need this type of care!
