I Went in for a Severe earache…The second I walked through the doors I was greeted cheerfully…I checked in and before my bracelet was even on I was called into the nurse triage( yes they were busy also) great service the nurse was compassionate and they actually cared. The dr even came into the triage and addressed my issue. I was in and out within 30 minutes and my ear issue was taken care of. A rarity nowadays with horrible health care being the “ NORM”
Worst place ever go to see St. Peter’s I beg you this Hospital they will just waste your time and money and no answers at all. I am 50 years old and have been to many different hospitals for family members my family me, etc. a lot and this is the worst facility I have ever been into in my whole life very embarrassing I don’t even know if these people are educated to be honest with you. This place billed 3k for a minor laceration that they put some glue and tape on. We spent maybe 15-20 minutes with staff and were seen in the hallway. I have spoken with their billing department at length and they will not provide an itemized statement. Just a catch all bundle charge that could include anything. No explanation as to how the services you received are valued.
I’m currently here now. I came in with back pain. I originally went to the urgent care and they asked me to go to the ER to verify that everything was fine due to EKG results. The front staff were nice and so was everyone else. I sat in a chair in the hall the entire time. My back hurts and I’ve been in this chair since I arrived. They drew my blood in this chair and left me here. I’m sure they are overworked and they are doing the best they can with what they have, but I won’t be returning.
My mom went into your ER to be seen because she believed her intestines were going into her hernia (or it is rupturing or has already ruptured) she is feeling extreme pain and more. She got there at 11pm, it is currently 2:30am- and they still haven’t seen her. I understand how you guys could be short staffed or are very busy with other patients, but my mom it’s important too.
