Every time I bring my son to the ER, the nurses and doctors are absolutely amazing. They always treat him with so much kindness, patience, and love. As a mom, it means everything to see people who genuinely care for your child. Every nurse and doctor I have met here deserves a raise. Thank you for everything you do. Look, I get it the healthcare system is failing. I took my mom here and we waited 7 hours for treatment. This facility is just too small for a major city. We were finally taken back to a small room, but never given a bed. With the money these for corporations are making they need at least double the size of this facility. The only good part was the staff. All the nurses, support staff were excellent. That must be hard when they are spread so thin. Dr. Hartley is so good. My husband was taken here by ambulance (code 3) because, very unfortunately, Sacred Heart was full. He had suffered two neurological attacks that matched symptoms of TIA, or a "mini stroke". Which anyone in healthcare should know is a direct warning of an impending full stroke event. The nurse who Started his intake stopped in the middle of it to answer a personal call on her cell phone.
