Sat for 3+ hours waiting for medication to be dispensed to my other half who was dealing with issue with kidneys. Watched others go in and out more frequently as the evening went on.

I was told that my condition was due to "Viral Influenza Syndrome" and that I had passed out due to the sight of blood. I felt that doctors and staff were dismissive of my pain, condition, etc. After being released and returning home I continued to have symptoms and had to seek care at Auburn hospital where they discovered that I had cysts on my kidneys and that I was having incredibly abnormal blood work. All of which Covington hospital missed because they had initially dismissed me.

Went in on Saturday night the 4th of July for really bad stomach pain and vomiting. They were helpful and kind and the wait wasn’t that long. I was checked into the hospital and given a room within an hour and they had me ready for surgery the next morning. My surgeon Dr Keating was amazing and the entire team was kind and helpful. I feel I got really lucky with my experience. Thank you!!
