I called in to Mullum electrical with what I thought was a really serious electrical fault The guy quickly found the fault and fixed it at absolute minimum cost. Very honest guy, and would trust for small or big jobs. Would gladly send my grandma there too.!
Repair was fine, problem was they never called with diagnosis and cost (even though they said they would) and simply went ahead and repaired the car and slapped me with a $500 bill
Unfortunately, zero stars isn’t an option. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with any auto service. If you don’t want to be scammed or overcharged, stay far away from this place. I came in for a very simple job—replacing a battery terminal. Instead of driving to my regular mechanic, I decided to give this place a second chance (despite having been overcharged the first time too). I am expecting a baby to arrive any day now and today in the rain while I was driving my wind screen wipers stopped working. The guys very kindly told me to just drive straight over and fixed the issue on the day to ensure I could drive to hospital by tonight. We so appreciate your efforts and kindness in fitting us in. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend this business
I had an awful experience with Mullum Auto Electrical. They charged me $500 and didn’t fix a single thing on my car. Every time I tried calling for an update, it took 4–5 calls just to get someone to answer. When they finally did, they were rude and unhelpful. Not once did they contact me to update me about my car – I had to chase them every time. They ended up telling me the car had to go to Mazda, which turned out to be completely unnecessary.
