Dr. Mullen operated on my knee and took care of issues I had afterwards until I got on the right track for recovery. He is an awesome doctor. I had a significant fall after the knee surgery and the graft he did for me was still intact. I think he did a great job and he is a very nice person too. Highly recommended.
Saw Dr. Mullen for the first time 4 months ago. I was referred to him for a total hip replacement from another doctor. As soon as he walked into the room, he told me he wasn't going to do the replacement and told me what he wanted to do (capsular repair). I expressed my concern with the surgery he wanted to do but left feeling like I wasn't really given a choice. The doctor prior to him told me it wouldn't be a successful surgery. Was seen by Dr. Mullens, and told I was at his opinion, max medical improvement. Even though I expressed symptoms increasing. Was told to take aspirin and nothing more he can do. Went to another doctor, they ordered more imagining right away, and found a significant tear.
Dr Mullen has proven to be the single most attentive Physician ever to be involved in my care. As a long term runner, I feel he is dedicated to supporting my activity level to the greatest of his ability. Very thankful I found him and will entrust him with my care long term.
