Poor customer service, bad planning and pretty sure CA doesn’t allow for their charging 90% of contract before they even supply product to end user. Will be checking with the state licensing board as well as the US Attorney’s office. More to come…
My company had gates installed years ago. Over time, random pieces and parts have fallen off, and I replaced what I could. One part (rubber safety strap that holds the track upright when the gate is open) was stolen shortly after installation because there is really nothing keeping someone from just pulling it off. Minimalist design is deceptively unforgiving. The fewer the elements, the less there is to hide behind, and even the slightest flaw is instantly visible. When I brought Mulholland Brand an architectural rendering for a sliding gate with adjacent pedestrian gate, I was asking for perfect, clean lines on the surface with significant engineering complexity underneath. Our experience from start to finish has been a disaster involving months of delays, the wrong-color gates, pool-safety and installation concerns, property damage, and an extraordinary lack of communication and accountability.
