The residents are here to get socializing and instead they are prisoners in their tiny rooms cause of “COVID” I also find it absurd to blame my grandma for an incident that happened and caused her injury when nobody saw it. Weekends good luck getting in or out. Also good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. Lately staff are too busy dressing up and posting pics on fb. There is never any updates about seeing our loved ones. It’s been 3 dang months. If we could we would take her out of Mulberry campus.
RecommendedI cannot say enough good about this facility. My mom lived at Mulberry for a couple years and then moved to The Glen Memory Care facility. Their staff at both facilities are very caring. They care about the residence health and welfare. In a time where we can't visit our family because the facility is in lock down due to COVID-19 I have comfort in knowing the kind of staff they have and she is safe. I did not have a good experience in the memory care building, on staff nurse is rude and not helpful, staff ratios promised but not consistently followed. Rooms not kept clean, often had a bad smell when you entered the facility. Would not recommend taking your loved one here. They are more interested in keeping their rooms full rather than the care of the residents.
