Our situation is almost identical to Em C. I ordered lace curtains Nov 22, 2013, received a notice of back order on Dec 4. I called and spoke with Judy to cancel the order that day. I had multiple emails and multiple phone calls with Maridette promising a credit. Now they do not answer the phone when I call and I have had no response from my inquiries this week. Ordered curtains from their website August 2013. Was notified they were backordered. I opted to wait to see if they would come in but every time I called I was told they were backordered even longer. By October 2013 I decided to cancel the order. It is now January 2014 and I still haven't received my refund. I have called several times and each time I am told that the owner and accountant have been told to give me my refund but it hasn't happened yet.
