Not the best place to go but certainly far from the worst. Some of the nursing staff went above and beyond with making sure patients were heard and seen. Not to mention the recreational therapy staff was amazing. The major negative was that they'll start you on medication and then not send you home with them. Doesn't make alot of sense. Then again these places are never perfect.
I love the nurses there. The art therapy staff is amazing but the social workers are not very nice. They do there best but they are all overworked and jammed into a too small office. I've seen some awful things there but this place has saved my life. One of the social workers tricked me. I thought everything was gonna be better and got my hopes up. Had a fairly decent stay. I just wish I had more help with my situation. All I got was suggestions and ideas but nothing changed. The employees are alright, but I really think there should be more activities or things for people to do. It was so boring there that I'd have no choice but to sleep the days away. I also think that the social worker and the doctors should do more to advocate for their patients. The staff don't care about patients. They are not looking to help anyone. They violate your human rights, misdiagnose and push drugs on you that you don't need. Roommate was coughing up blood and they did nothing about it. It is not an institution for helping people or care. It is a prison where you send mentally unstable people to die.
Place is awful also they give you an agreement to give up your rights to get out until the doctor lets you get out. I would not prefer it because my family member hated it there I prefer you go somewhere else because it’s awful!
