I had a heart catheterization last week and Dr. Sharma discovered that I had three blockages and decided that it would be best for him to consult with a heart surgeon before automatically placing the stents. In the recovery room, I was able to talk to Dr. Sharma, and the heart surgeon on the best procedure for me. It was decided that the best procedure would be go with the stents rather than having an open heart surgery. This was definitely what I was wanting to hear.
