I don’t know why my review was deleted but I’ll keep putting a review so other parents are aware. They will not monitor your child. They didn’t even allow me to talk to the staff who was last seen with my child. The staff allowed my child to run away. The experience at Muir Wood in Petaluma was disappointing during an incredibly challenging time for our family.

Muir Wood's is a dangerous facility to put your kids in the care of. Let me be very clear on that. The communication during my daughters stay was filled with lies, a lack of communication and completely unprofessional. I would never send my child here or recommend this facility to my worst enemy. Please, please if you are looking for residential care for your child go elsewhere. You are only putting your child in danger in this facility.
