Horrible Experience. I tried to call them a lot of times. They do not answer their phones. It is very hard to reach them. I need to go there personally. I am still waiting for them to call me back from my insurance approval on gastro procedure. I think Christ’s second coming would be earlier than Muir Family Physician Calling me back if my insurance allows the procedure. Waste of time.
Terrible experience. I was bounced between a receptionist (who repeatedly placed me on hold and couldn’t answer basic questions), a medical assistant, and Stacy (office manager) with no clear answers. Communication was difficult, condescending, and disorganized. When I tried to escalate, Stacy refused to provide her last name (for complaint documentation) and would not give proper guidance on how to file a complaint—only directing me to a general hospital number instead of Patient Relations. The doctor works 1 day a week. If you request an appointment you have to follow up multiple times to get it scheduled which might be a month or more just for a phone visit. It takes forever to get a prescription for insulin that I need to have every month and instead giving me refills the pharmacy has to get it approved. I thought I was frustrated with Kaiser and decided to pay more money for worse service. Disappointing to say the least.
Moved to the area from Vegas where I've been on the same maintenance meds for years and needed to find a Primary Care Physician here in the area. The Doctor I saw was not knowledgeable, very judgmental, and humiliated me with every comment. Refused to prescribe me basic medications I've been prescribed by me previous PCP for the last 8 years with all of my medical documentation and records because he "felt" I didn't need to be on it without checking my blood work or medical history.
