Not impressed ! Dr Farooqui saw my 87 year old mother and the medication he prescribed did not work at all. We reached out to him through the patient portal expressing concerns and the need for a different option to relieve the patient symptoms; his assistant acknowledged receiving the message and indicated it was forwarded to him, but then it was pure silence. The worst really... SMH. One of the worst decisions of my life choosing this Dr. I just need my medical records and a referral sent over to my new GI because I moved to another state. Its been almost a month of me calling them. So much back and forth. I've left multiple voice mails, messages, explained to staff what my new GI needs from them. Voice mail says someone will return call within next business day. No one has called back for over 9 days. Left 2 more voice mails just in case. Nothing. I call them multiple times thro... read more
The Methodist System continues to take care of our family health and Dr Farooqui (and his team) are a great addition to my personal health care! He is Professional, Great Personality, Competent, and Caring about your welfare.
He seemed concerned at first and wanted a couple of tests done. When I suggested another test he said they do that at the Med Center and that we could discuss that in 3 or 4 months! 3 or 4 months when I could get answers sooner. As it stands the earliest endoscopy was 2 months out and his next appointment availability was an additional month out. Perhaps he shouldn't take on new patients if he doesn't have adequate time to investigate their issues.
