Just had an oil change and the service only took 15-20 mins, and the guys working there were very personable �
I went to this Muffler Man last week for an oil change and they told me I needed to replace my control arms in my car and that it was dangerous for me to be driving. They estimated a cost of over $550 to replace them. This seemed odd because I had them replaced about two years ago. Luckily for me, my brother is a mechanic and looked at the control arms and brakes, struts, etc and found nothing wrong with any of it. I've been going here for years and always have had excellent service. Mary Jo and her crew of mechanics have been fair and helpful and made sure everything ran correctly and make sure I'm on the road safely.
Car broke down in Lapeer this was the nearest car service. They tried to charge me more then double of what my regular mechanic would. Feel like because I’m female they can do that and I wouldn’t question or compare. Shameful.
This place is amazing! We will always come back here! Also the store clerk "Kaycee" has the best personality/customer curtacey award anywhere in my book, hands down!
I had taken my mom to see Bronners (she loves Christmas deco) and blew a spark plug on the engine in my E-350. It is a comon problem with the Triton motors. It is not an easy fix. When it first happened I thought it was an exhaust leak so I looked up muffler shops and found the Muffler Man. They got me in quick and saw it was a blown plug. My driver door froze up Saturday and I was trapped in my car (unless I wanted to climb over the console/shifter). Pulled into Muffler Man and they allowed me to pull into the garage to let it thaw out. Took only a few minutes of warmer temps and some jiggling of door handle and lock before I was freed from my car! They made my day and wouldn't take a cent. So grateful to the great guys at Muffler Man in Lapeer!!
