Thank you Simon and John for taking the time to see me today. Simon, thank you also for always answering my calls. You did a great job on my Hiace RV a couple of years back, ensuring it had the best Solar and battery support. It has been working great (on and off grid) over the last two years. Thank you again today for detecting the exhaust leak, and together with your mecchanic investigating the problem with plans to get the Hiace back on the road.
Thanks to Simon for squeezing us in at short notice on a Friday, for an electrical issue with our MB Sprinter van reversing camera. John was able to diagnose and repair the wiring, and get us back on our way. Workshop had a professional setup, and I noted that they are well equipped for all things Victron... Happy to recommend Muegge "Meggy" Mechanical for any Van-lifers out on the road.
Wanted to try a small local business for my caravan. Nice guys, I'm sure they're good at electrical. Pictures speak for themselves with the welding. $810 to weld on drop down legs (only the 2 at the rear) and add 2 gusset support gussets (I supplied the drop down legs). Probably should have bought a welder and just given it a crack myself. 1/5 stars- lost points for price and quality of work.
Such a professional and quality job done on our Swagman Motorhome!! Had a major electrical upgrade done on our vehicle to provide huge off-grid capacity! Such a great job done and we are so happy with the work!! However… its the after service that is so valuable! This morning while we are away on a trip i sent a text to Simon saying our fridge is not working.. he rings me and works with my husband over the phone and after quite a bit of trouble shooting Simon discovers a loose wire connection behind the switch board…. Agree with other reviews,Simon has great knowledge and know-how.Does his best to explain to the customer the inns and outs of work needed or done. Has all the victron contraptions for diagnosis and updates and configuration of the easysolar units for example. Great knowledge of lifepo4 batteries and off grid set ups. Easy to find,easy access,deeds rd is wide so no problem even with cars parked on side. Definitely recommend.
