We had a golf trip for 12 guys booked on the NSW coast when floods hit closing the highway and likely ending our plans. Bronny came to the rescue last minute and let us stay at the lodge and what was looking like a cancelled weekend became an even better experience than we had originally planned for. The house is amazing and comfortably fit all 12 of us and was walking distance to all the pubs and restaurants in town. We had a wonderful time at Mudgee Explorer lodge and Mudgee overall. Brony was a great host who had thoughtfully kept some provisions as it was the long weekend. The place itself was spacious, well designed and had lots of place for the kids to play and be entertained. The location was very central and close to the city centre with cafes and restaurants in close proximity... overall a great holiday

Eleven friends were delighted to find Mudgee Explorer Lodge accommodation spacious, airy and artistically decorated. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and lounge areas were exceptionally, indeed refreshingly, well presented. We were impressed that the Lodge design provided the opportunity to mingle as a group while affording guests the opportunity to enjoy should they wish, quiet time apart. Mudgee Explorer Lodge is located within walking distance to the town centre. We wholeheartedly recommend the Lodge.
