Material embrittlement on my Featherlite surface drive 16hp caused my motor to fall off my boat going down the road. They don't stand by their shotty craftsmanship as they refused to reimburse me for the damage done and suggested I buy another product from them. Why would I buy another product that's going to potentially be defective and aren't going to stand by the craftsmanship. I have had experience with every product they sale and all of them are over priced trash, the cheapest kit uses wood as bearings and when they get wet the swell, split, and break. The twister shaft binds and causes you to lose power and when the shift brakes have fun replacing it, the custom shaft came with damaged threads and when I asked about a fix they sent me a prop conversion that didn't even work.
