Moved back to Ashland in August. Needed four new tires for a minivan. Called MTW twice for estimates and took ages to get the telephone answered both times. Got a rough estimate which was not out of reach, Went to shop two days in a row to but new tires and people were waiting to get in. Great business, I figuredl Turns out no one ever came to open the business!!!! Two days in a row. No notes on door. Nothing. I took my $650 elsewhere and am very happy with the shop I found. almostkilled – Never go to MTW in Russell.... Had struts put on front for 714.00 and sent me home to come back the next day to re-adjust them..On the way home I stopped and call MTW and said the car was making an awful noise..John the manager said that it would make noise and that it was safe.. Proceeded home the last 2 miles and parked.. Got up the next morning to take back and 100 feet out of my drive on the main road the car popped and jerked into on comming traffic.Truck was able to stop before hitting me...The wheel ble... read more

Low Ball Quote then HIGH priced bill – I am providing the following information on the Internet, the BBB and the Attorney Generals Office: I took my van for a scheduled 4 wheeled alignment on Saturday November 14th. MTW RIPS YOU OFF!!!!! – So, I called the store and was priced 4 tires of a known brand. I go there to get 4 known brand tires and an alignment while they're putting on new tires. I end up with a tire brand I NEVER heard of and told I needed over $400 dollars worth of repairs to align the car correctly, because something was broken in my wheel. Great Service Great Value-The Place To Go! – Torque all wheels on your vehicle, always use new wheel weights and 2 plane balancing, their invoices has your name, year, make, model , mileage , tag number, and even the serial numbers off the tires they install, and only repair your tire in inside in the tread area, and offer a Free alignment check when you buy tires. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! – Do not buy anything from these people. I went there and bought 4 new tires and got my car aligned. These people forgot to tighten up one of my wheels and it almost fell off. I drove to Ashland and I pulled over b/c I knew something was wrong. I had to tighten up the lug nuts w/ my hands then my crow bar. Also they were supposed 2 align my car, but it pulled to the right. They made my alignment worse than it was before I ever went there! I had to take my car to Fannins in Ashland to get it aligned. I... read more

Terrible customer service – Tried to charge me for work that was obviously not done. Rude and unresponsive when I argued over the bill. Poor prices on parts and service. I strongly recommend to anyone to avoid this shop!
