I was in a pinch to make sure my truck was road ready for our long haul south. The team at MTR are true professionals and are genuinely great people. The BEST experience i've ever had with any mechanic. I will never go anywhere else. Friendly staff, tight turnaround time, very reasonable prices. I have had a few bad experiences with mechanics in Fairbanks, so this place is a total breath of fresh air. I am grateful for the honest and quality service they are providing .
I don’t know if the shop is under new management but absolutely the worst customer service and most dishonest transaction I’ve ever had to deal with this shop stole $4000 from me and didn’t even do any work on my vehicle. They refuse to return any emails or phone calls
I was stuck at MTR with my insane clown possy (my four children) and my kids raised HELL. ALL the staff at MTR were extremely patient and understanding and had my truck back on the road much sooner than I expected. I went in because my brakes started to sound rough. Turned out I had ZERO rear brakes and it sounds like I was about to lose the front. I am SO grateful they got me in immediately because that truck is all we have for transportation. I’ll likely be back for my transfer case that’s going out. Thank you MTR!
We're from Missouri, traveling through Alaska. We had to have a new clutch put in. Erin worked hard to get us in quickly and Kevin was very knowledgeable and did a great job on the repair. Highly recommend MTR Transmission.
