Per a friend that works here - The drivers are supposedly covered under the union and were told that the contract stated, there would be 4 days on with 10 hour shifts or 5 days a week with 8 hour shifts. There are drivers barely getting 30 hours a week. How are they to live off of that??? MTM has very limited buses, therefore there are a lot of empty parking spots but upper management won’t allow drivers to park their personal vehicles. I am grateful for the service, however, Access a Ride is one of the least accessible programs for folks with disabilities. There really needs to be an app, instead of a website. I believe an IT intern could do this as a summer project with no trouble! My friend who is in a wheel chair has his own challenges, and I won't speak for him. The lift...
