We came here for a NYS inspection and the technician chose to inspect the car without first checking to see if the car was ready for emissions testing. As a result, he charged us $37 to pass us for the safety inspection and failed us for emissions. He then tells us that he has a tool that can check to see whether the car is ready for emissions inspection, and that if we drive for 50 miles or so we can pay an additional $27 for another emissions test. Hands down, if you own a BMW — Mark is the guy to go to! I’m in the car business myself, and I was genuinely impressed by his deep knowledge and professionalism.
