STAY AWAY FROM THEIR POST PARTUM UNIT UNLESS YOU WANT TO PUT YOUR CHILD IN DANGER. L&D and MFM are great. This review is for their post partum care unit (had several other issues regarding infant safety and behavior from a nurse but this is more critical to know. The doctors refused to treat elevated billirubin levels, even after many conversations and insistence for light therapy treatment (which only takes a few hours). I give my MFM and the L&D team 5+ stars. They were great in pregnancy and in the L&D ward. But the postpartum care post-surgery left a lot to be desired. We had some great nurses but they’re very understaffed here, and I’ve had some nurses who have been pretty nasty (one got mad at me that I refused to take Ambien as opposed to what I had been given the past 4 nights (Benadryl) for insomnia with Oxycodone, which is not safe, when every other night they’ve been giving me Benadryl for sleep + Oxy for the pain) but she refused ... read more
Great prenatal care and labor and delivery experience, including my induction turned c-section! Transitional care by nurses post-op left more to be desired, though—no one was around or answered buttons. We had great nurses in post-partum unit but they’re understaffed and it wasn’t as attentive of care as labor and delivery was. Def recommend paying for a private room because the roommate situation is not ideal (same for anywhere, though).
