A truly unique and romantic 10 getaway like nothing else. Step back into time and experience perfection Absolutely everything. Right from the moment we arrived. My partner and I had under judged the fuel consumption driving up the mountain range and our tank was empty when we arrived. We were not aware the closest fuel station was 21km away. Secure, scenic parking directly beside the respectfully resto-modded carriage and seperate chalet quarters, historic touches, metalsmith art, carpentry and fine handywork abound. What a perfect place to stay! A beautifully restored and well-maintained heritage Qld Rail carriage in a former guards van. A cozy bedroom with RC air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, Weber Q BBQ on the balcony provides for easy self catering. The carriage and surrounds are decorated with lots of memorabilia to add to the authentic experience. For train buffs a must-do however anyone would find something to love about this unique stay.
