The nurses and techs are pretty good. The front office isn't terrible either. Some of the doctors there have shown a deep lack of interest in caring for their patients and demonstrate a lack of understanding of basic biology. I also had the worst therapy experience in over ten years...deeply unprofessional and profoundly inappropriate. I know some people have had good experiences at this clinic, but I have not.

While the VA operates under a single funding framework, individual clinics may have varying budgets based on factors like patient volume, the types of services provided, and regional needs. VA hospitals and clinics are funded through lump-sum budgets, but these budgets are not necessarily the same for every facility. This allows Care Providers at this particular ocation to deny definitive care to Vetrans who desperately need it.

This is the best clinic ever!!!! Try going to the clinic in North Chicago and you will see what a bad clinic is like. I don't know why there are so many negatives, count yourself very lucky to have a CBOC in Mountain Home. Little Rock is just as good!!

Injured back and getting in to be seen was a nightmare. Still have not had an actual physical exam. Ive adamantly refused any narcotics and pain is horrible. Requested steroid injection or oral for pain and was refused but offered Tramadol (synthetic opioid.) The VA is very willing to hand out narcotics and create addicts but not willing to try conservative approaches.

I have called multiple times and it rings 20 times and just hangs up on me. It never gives me an opportunity to leave a voice-mail. Trying to get a wellness check but they never answer.
