My stay at the Mt. Gardner Inn was absolutely wonderful. This locally owned gem is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and full of charm. One of my favorite parts of the stay was spending the mornings on the nice patio, enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. The location is also good with short walk to town via a nearby walking path and pedestrian bridge, making it incredibly convenient to explore Winthrop without needing to drive. Truly nice and clean room. All utilities work in the room including an actual bathroom fan which is already miles better than many big hotels. Easy self check in and out. Nice to have some clean plates and utensils to use.
We were so happy to have chosen Mt Gardiner Inn on our trip through the North Cascades. Winthrop is definitely the place to stay along the Methow river, great places to eat and look around. The Inn was a short walk along the river to the main town area, with a fantastic pizza restaurant and supermarket right nearby. Our room was lovely and the owners were incredibly welcoming. Check in and out a breeze. Would totally recommend.
We stayed here for 2 days and the room was really cozy and big. It had a big spa tub and a standing shower. Also had extra room for luggage with an equipped kitchen as well. The place had good collection of dvds ans dvd player in each room. The room service was amazing too, would highly recommend this place and on days with clear sky you get to star gaze from your balcony too.
