and Sushi! GREAT food. Awesome atmosphere. Had a work holiday party there and it was unforgettable. 15-20 people sitting around a table, watching the food be grilled right in front of us! Shrimp being thrown at all guests. Drinks good too! =) Overall a great time and good restaurant.

all good things must come to an end... – I wrote a review for this place back in 2007 raving about how excellent their food was, now I'm back in 2010 to tell a different story. My boyfriend and I had a date night that brought us to Mt. Fuji. I love to sit at the sushi bar and he is still learning what he likes in the world of sushi - so we are seated at the sushi bar. Good sushi! Great sushi and friendly service! Coming from California it has been hard to find really good sushi but this is one of the better places in the metro area. The restaurant itself is small and sometimes a little awkward because you are so close to the people sitting next to you but definitely worth a try! You can always sit at the bar.

Great sushi! Fantastic, fresh sushi. I highly recommend the pink lady. And ask for a side of spicy mayo - you won't regret it! Their lunch specials are a pretty phenomenal deal because they serve bento boxes for $7-10 depending on what meat you order. Everything here is cooked to order and you can just taste the freshness. I will come back here again & again.

Sushi lacks in flavor – The resturant looks very nice, the decor very pleasing, and the service is good. Ultimately, the problem I have with this place is the taste. I orderd the Sushi Deluxe which came with lots of nigiri. I've had wonderful tasting nigiri at Kikugawa and Sakura and this just can't compete. The sushi is missing a lot of flavor and the miso soup tasted like water. Perhaps the hibachi dinners are better at this place. If I do go a next time, I will stay away from the sushi.

A friend and I ordered the land & sea for two dinner and were highly disappointed. Not only were the lobster, shrimp and chicken overdone, but the portion of vegetables was very small. There were also four other people dining at the same table as us. They were highly disatisfied also with their meals, fact that they served the vegetables last and portion size. When we spoke to the manager, she made excuses for the chef. She said that she would talk to the main manager and left us waiting at our table for another ten minutes.... read more

Good sushi in chain hell – This is a worthwhile spot in Maple Grove and offers up delicious food quickly with attentive service. My sushi was fresh and delicious. The gyoza was so great that we ordered another round. I really think this is one of the better sushi establishements in town. I wish the space were less sterile and cliche but I'm don't really care about that. Also, I think they should have more rolls or change up for HH specials.

Great Japanese Food Whether you're looking for a sit down restaurant or where they cook it in front of you or a sushi bar, this place has it all. They put on a show right in front of you if you choose to eat at the habotchi. I had the filet minion and chicken special and it was amazing. The steak was tender and made perfectly. Service was fast and very polite. Reasonable prices for what you get.
